Differences Day is an award-winning workshop that educates elementary school children about various types of disabilities while incorporating the importance of tolerance, patience and acceptance of those with disabilities.
It includes a series of hands-on activities designed to simulate visual, auditory, speech and motor impairments, as well as learning differences. The purpose of the program is for the students to better understand the challenges faced by children, and adults, with special needs.
